My work is mediated through memory. Snapshots, videos, and sketches help me recall recent or past reminiscences of my travels. These destinations possess similar, significant elements of time — space — atmosphere — illumination.

Inspired by my approach to photography, which captures gradients of light, shallow depths of field, and minimal information, these traits cycle into my painting; Painterly photographs — photographic paintings.
